Deptford High School presents

We asked our readers which Gloucester County high school musical we should photograph this year, and voters chose Deptford High School’s production of “Young Frankenstein.”

The production opened Thursday and ran through Saturday.

Other Gloucester County high schools have productions coming up this month.

Here is a look at what to expect for the rest of the musical season:

Clearview Regional High School is presenting “Sister Act” on March 23 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show cost $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and students with school IDs on them.

Clayton High School is presenting “Beauty and the Beast” on March 23, 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday, March 23. This will be the first show in the new Clayton Performing Arts Center at the high school. Student tickets are $5. Adult tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased by calling 856-881-8704 or e-mailing Rose Gerle at rgerle@claytonps.org

Delsea Regional High School is presenting “The Little Mermaid” at the school on March 9, 10 and 11 with showtimes at 7 p.m. Tickets are sold in advanced while available for $13 each. On Saturday March 11 there will be an additional show at 12 p.m., tickets are $11 with a non-perishable donation for the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation. Without donations, tickets are $13.

Gateway Regional High School is presenting “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The show will be performed on Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m., as well as Friday, March  24 and Saturday March 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and $6 for senior citizens.

Gloucester County Institute of Technology will present “Urinetown” from March 28 through April 1. All shows start at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for nonstudents and $7 for students.

Kingsway Regional High School will present “Mary Poppins” on March 9, 10 and 11. Show time will be 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets cost $10 on Thursday and Friday, but on Saturday tickets will be half price for kids 12 and under for a family night special.

Paulsboro High School will present “Godspell” on March 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets to see the show cost $8.

Pitman High School is presenting “Bye Bye, Birdie” on March 16, 17 and 18. Thursday and Friday the showtime is 7 p.m. and on Saturday the show starts at 2 p.m. with a second show at 7 p.m.

Washington Township High School will present “In the Heights” by Lin Manuel Miranda of Hamilton fame. The show will be performed March 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and March 11 at 3. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through Ms. Shannon Molloy, producer of the show at smolloy@wtps.org.

West Deptford High School will present “Mary Poppins” on March 23, 24 and 25. Shows all begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

Williamstown High School is presenting “The Little Mermaid” on March 10, 11, 17 and 18. Each night, the show will be held at 7 p.m. with an additional show at 2 p.m. on March 11. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. To reserve seating, tickets cost $6 for students and $11 for adults. VIP seating is $15. Tickets can be reserved or bought through whstheatreco@monroetwp.k12.nj.us

Woodbury High School will be performing “Wizard of Oz” on Thursday March 23 and Friday March 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday March 25 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets to see the show cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
